Acceuil chaleureux, humour et convivialité entre propriétaires et hôtes, super expérience, de belles rencontres. Quartier animé mais calme, restaurants et plage à proximité à pied. Merci pour tout !!!!

O pequeno almoço foi bom. Ambiente acolhedor e agradável. As pessoas são muito atenciosas e simpáticas. Gostámos muito. Obrigado ao senhor Rui e restante pessoal. Um abraço de vila nova de paiva.

The hostel overall was renovated, well-equipped, and had friendly staff. There was a kitchen, a living room, very tasty breakfast, toilets, showers, and a bed.

Unfortunately, overall I was disappointed with this place because there were bed bugs in my bed. I stayed for two nights. After the first night, some bumps appeared, but I naively thought they were mosquito bites. After the second day and night, I was bitten all over — I had around 40 bites. The owner seemed surprised, but I'm not entirely sure whether he really didn’t know. I had never had bed bug issues in any other hostels in Portugal until this one — it was the first time. Afterwards, I had to buy medication and clean my bag and belongings. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
