Outstanding hosts and very accommodating.

Excellent location.

Poor quality beds. The room was not as clean as I expected with a Guest House with such high ratings. Shared bathroom...although I knew this before I went so this is not fault of the Guest House. Limited parking options. Limited flexbility on breakfast time...espically as most people will be heading out early to walk. I did get a 'snack pack' which was kind.

It was easy to find and very clean

Breakfast was good. Our room was very spacious and cozy. Check-In and Check-Out went smoothly. There was enough space for parking on the street, this may differ in high season.

Decoration in bedroom was different. Lovely cooked Breakfast. Also available was some fruit, yogurts and cereals if wanted them.

Quite steep steps to get upstairs. We are used to living in a house but these seemed extra steep, so hard carrying your luggage up and down. Check in was just from a key in a safe to your room, but straight forward and easy.

I originally gave this property a perfect score of 10 even though they insisted I paid in full the day before arrival and threatened to cancel the room if I did not do so despite it being advertised as pay on arrival! That said, I had a lovely time there. It is good value for money and they do a nice breakfast. However, upon my return I realised I had left something in the room. I messaged them twice via the booking.com app and then when no response was received I rang and spoke to someone who asked me to ring back later on. I rang again and left two voicemails on different days and have been totally ignored. I appreciate it is a small business and it is annoying when guests do this but I offered to pay for the postage for the return and it is only a small item. It has been nearly a week now so I guess I am not going to get a response.

Customer service could be better it is rude to ignore people even if it is annoying.
