"I can recommend this place."

10.0

It was my first experience staying at a riad, and it couldn’t have been better. It’s a 10–15 minute walk to the busy part of the Medina, yet tucked away on a quiet side street. The air conditioner worked well—I needed the heating rather than the cooling since it was November and cold at night. The shower was nice and hot, and everything was clean.

I do not recommend this riad. Our stay was far from what we expected. The photos on Booking are completely misleading — the place looks nothing like the pictures, and we even thought we had arrived at the wrong riad. The rooms have no exterior windows, there was constant noise during the night, and at one point it was actually raining inside. The staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. They offered no information, were difficult to find at any moment, and showed no interest in assisting us. We paid for breakfast, yet we never received it. Even though they told us to request an early breakfast one day in advance, when we did, we were abruptly told that “the boss doesn’t allow breakfast before 8 AM.” This riad was the only negative part of our trip — everything else in Marrakech was amazing. Unfortunately, the accommodation did not meet even basic expectations

"Pretty ok"

8.0

The location was ok, you would get to the main square by foot in 7 to 10 minutes. The "boss'' was responsive and nice, but with the receptionist it was hard to get along, as his language skills were not the best. Yet he tried.

The place was extremely noisy. I stayed for two nights, and the first one was unbearable. The receptionist was talking loudly on the phone, the rain was falling into the interior courtyard and sounded like a running shower hitting the floor, and the walls were so thin that I could hear everything from the room above. As if that wasn’t enough, after midnight they started setting up the tables for breakfast, moving chairs and furniture and creating even more noise. On the second night, at 5 a.m., they started preparing the breakfast area again, making the same loud noises. I recommend choosing a room on the first floor, because on the ground floor every sound feels like it’s happening inside your own room.
