The rooms were delightful!! I love the old fashioned look - beautiful sash windows, high ceilings and excellent decor. The bathroom itself was larger than most bedrooms I’ve had!!!

I had a nice stay at Glenmore House in Mullingar. The property is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere that feels both welcoming and relaxing. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed provided. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the continental breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The location is ideal – peaceful and scenic, yet only a short drive/walk from Mullingar town, making it a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.

"Old-Style B&B"

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin; Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder. Gutes kontinentales (!) Frühstück. Lage zwischen Privatpark und großer Rasenfläche: sehr ruhig!

Eher neutral, da diese Kommentarspalte fehlt: Wer den Komfort eines Hotels sucht oder ein irisches Frühstück erwartet, wird hier enttäuscht werden. Statt dessen findet er sich in einem sehr großen Zimmer wieder, dessen Bad allein die Größe so manches Hotelzimmers hat. Entsprechend der sehr alten Villa funktioniert nur einer der Hähne des Doppelwaschbeckens und das Bidet ist völlig funktionslos. Dafür gibt es Dutzende verschiedener Hand- und Badetücher im Bad. WLAN kaum nutzbar, da die Feldstärke im Haus nur sehr gering ist. Sauberkeit ist „optimierbar“, das Haus hat mit den vielen Dekoobjekten etwas von einem Museum vergangener Pracht…
