B Nineteen

We’ve had two short stays here and would like a longer one. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable and the soap nice. Good, big cupboards. The building is in a quiet, leafy area with the sound of birds tweeting and a view of the dome of Humayan’s tomb. The daily manager went out of his way to help us, e.g, with taxis at early and late hours - thank you - and, on request, the cook makes an excellent dinner.

Nothing really. The bathrooms were a bit dark, perhaps, but it wasn’t a problem.

Staff comunication could have been better.

Staff was excellent! Very willing to help and accommodate. We only stayed one night and wished we were there longer! The staff booked us a driver the same morning to take us around Delhi. Room was very spacious and clean! Breakfast served right to the room, tasted great!

There was a strange smell in the room, great if you could get rid of that.

The room was beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, the bed was large and comfy, and the view of Humayun's tomb from the roof was stunning! The staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The location was within walking distance of a nice cafe (Cafe Turtle) and we were also able to walk from Humayun's tomb. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom with hot water, and the room's good wifi. We were also grateful for the heating as the December weather was quite chilly.

Ajay the manager was welcoming and allowed us early availability, had his staff to collect us from the train station, and even used his vehicle to drop us to a Resturant . Great service indeed especially for new visitors to the city. The location of the hotel was extremely safe .

While there was a small leak just outside our room that was quickly sorted. We inadvertently turned of the hot water system as there was no indication . Ajay agreed to rectify the situation . Nothing major to mar our visit .
