Exceptional..Loved the stay

The guest house is very well maintained. Great hospitality. Location is very good, outside the noise yet close to the center,

There is some issues with water pressure in faucets. Often, there was a lack of flow of hot & cold water. Although it was fixed, the issue persists & have recommended the owner to fix this. Also it definitely helps, if showers can be activated in rooms.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. Despite being late at night, they helped me checkin and made sure food would be prepared for me when I asked. The rooms were clean.

Booking shows that there’s a single room with a shared bathroom, one with its own bathroom and a twin room with its own bathroom, which is a glitch I think because only the first and last option were there in reality, if Im not wrong. I picked the second option and had to upgrade to the third (they were kind enough to give me a discount for it). However, I hope this glitch is fixed soon .

Staff was really nice, totally clean and comfortable accommodation and food was also really good. Furthermore, they were regularly taking updates regarding stay and other things so that our stay goes well. Really appreciate

Very Nicely managed both fooding and lodging.

For the most part, it got the job done. The biggest praise is for the staff and the location. Rimli made me feel very welcome and responded immediately to whatever issues I raised. I think he will definitely make your stay pleasant. Also, yeah, the location was solid. Pretty easy to walk from the railway station and bus depot. Finding a car to bring you to Shillong or wherever shouldn't be a problem.

Definitely some major concerns... The building is old and the design is poor. The rooms cannot be sealed completely which means mosquitos and pollution have free access to you. I literally walked into a room which a dozen mosquitos waiting for me, so just have to keep this in mind. Fortunately, Rimli provided an electric swatter for me, otherwise I would not have coped. Still, best to keep the mosquitos out rather than kill them, and that isn't possible. No water filter available. I used the tap water which was fine, but may not be suitable for everyone. It is unsustainable to rely on plastic water bottles. Extremely noisy. Dogs, random conversations, music, everything can be heard as if it's inside the room. There was also a watchman or someone just outside making noise at night. Not the most comfortable, have to be honest about it. But yeah, ultimately it's good for short stays as long as you can adjust a bit.
