Lovely b&b in very heart of Kilkenny. Spotless room. Great breakfast

Simple, no frills stay. Small room, tiny TV. Bathroom had a lingering smell but we just kept the door closed. Quiet location and comfortable enough beds. The flashing traffic light from outside shone through the curtain all night but if you have a face mask or are a deep sleeper, it won't impact you.

No deal breakers but I probably wouldn't seek it out again

It was easy to find and the host was very nice. Breakfast was delish.

It was not very exciting to look at, bedding could use a refresh and just a little more polished presentation. But, that said it was still a nice place to lay our heads for the night. It did the job.

The location of the B&B is really good, you are only a few minutes walk from the town centre and the majority of the major attractions in the town, you won't need to use any transportation once you are at the property. The property is nicely decorated throughout. There was a fabulous view of Kilkenny castle from the bedroom The room was lovely and quiet.

The room was on the 2nd floor, the stairs were narrow and steep making it very difficult to carry luggage up to the room. The windows opened up very wide, there are no safety stoppers on them. I wouldn't have been happy having a child in this room as the windows were easily accessible and easily opened. There was no wardrobe/closet. There was a very small hanging rail with a few hangars on it, however this was situated directly above the tea/coffee making area and kettle meaning there was absolutely no space to hang any clothes within the room The bathroom was huge, however, the shower cubicle was tiny. Both myself and my partner are tall and the cubicle was too small for us to fit in properly and have wash. The shower shower tray very quickly due to the high pressure of the water, it was not able to drain the water away quick enough. There was no ironing facilities within the room. There was no seating area within the room, there was one hard wooden dining style chair placed at the end of the bed, under a low shelf. There was no space in the room to sit on that chair. We found the host quite rude. She was extremely chatty to American guests staying at the property but completely ignored us and kept giving us funny looks during breakfast. Breakfast was substandard and was not a full Irish breakfast as the stated. There was no black or white pudding. Instead of potatoes we were given a hash brown (definitely not Irish). The fried eggs were burnt on the bottom. On our first morning our breakfast was served cold. Toast was white bread only. Parking not as advertised. You are parking on a street and it is not private. Our car was hit whilst parked up at the property (we assume by another guest as there was no one else parking there) and this is now costing us over £800 (GBP) to get repaired.

Everything was spot on, the owner was very nice and accommodating.
