Stunning place

I was so disappointed I did not get the room I reserved with a tub inside the room. The room I got had an odd shower & the staff tried to justify it by providing a bottle wine which only cost like 15 euros. Expedia needs to do better at securing the right room that was paid for at a much higher rate for such amenities. What helped this property is that it’s beautiful surroundings & tasty wine!

Excellent place for a quiet getaway and it’s a plus if you enjoy good wine!

Château très joliment décoré. Une literie de grande qualité avec un magnifique linge de lit. La maison est extrêmement propre. Présence d'une cuisine équipée si besoin. Petit déjeuner délicieux. La propriétaire, malgré son absence, a été très disponible et réactive par téléphone. L'équipe est adorable, bienveillante et souriante. J'ai adoré, je reviendrai!

We loved everything about Château Bonalgue and only wish our stay was much longer. We felt welcomed and at home from the very first minute. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable and the living/breakfast room is warm, bright and beautiful. Guests can use the kitchen. The breakfast of pastries, yogurt, etc. was delicious and the wine tasting was a special treat. If we return to the region we would consider basing here. It’s simple to get to St. Emilion by car or taxi or to Bordeaux and many other destinations by train.

Great place to stay

Château Bonalgue was extremely convenient to all sorts of destinations. Very clean and well maintained. It is set between vineyards and fields. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
