great accommodation - bedroom plus sitting room and decent sized bathroom with washing machine and small fridge; two TVs; house is situated in a small modern development with a Chineses all-you-can-eat buffet within walking ditance. The host was very helpful. With a car you coulod explore many of the local sights. would definitely use this again if visiting Scotland

Just like being at home. In fact, it is an attachment to the owner’s home. She was wonderfully helpful and friendly, and loved to chat. There was a continental breakfast and generous choices. The location, which is in a suburban neighborhood near both Melrose and Galashiels, is the only downside. The upside is that it is quiet and homey. If you don’t mind driving 10 minutes for shops or a restaurant, this is a great value.
