Asanka Surf House & Restaurant with pool

Very kind staff, very close to the beach, really beautiful poolside! felt home! ♡ will come again!

Good price and for some people probably good vibe but i didn’t feel it that way

Terrible beds which made every night suffering, noise until late hours from the common area, train passing by, WiFi not really working in the room

Brilliant very friendly staff, fantastic location, great value for money, great games - the staff play a good game of pool ;) Close to local eateries and beaches, cool wildlife nearby (we saw monkeys, fireflies, and peacocks on the roads closeby), transport and Tuk Tuks everywhere. Fan perfectly able to keep us cool enough to sleep

Could do with painting all over, as the paint is starting to look tired and dated. We would pay more if renovated.

Les oreillers beaucoup trop gros et durs. La lumière devant la chambre toute la nuit. Une seule prise dans la chambre. On a eu de meilleurs petits déjeuners ailleurs mais celui-ci reste ok même si nous n'avons eu aucun fruit à manger, ce qui aurait été apprécié.

Everything about this hostel was excellent. The place has a beautiful aesthetic and the pool area is a real highlight – especially during sunset with the palm tree, it’s an amazing atmosphere. There is a billiard table and nice common areas where you can relax easily. The staff were super friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were very clean, and even in the 4-bed dorm we had our own private bathroom, which was great. You get everything you need: towels, soap, clean beds – it’s all well organized and comfortable. If you are a surfer, this is honestly one of the best hostels in Midigama. There are surfboard storage racks, and you can take a small shortcut over a little bridge straight to the beach. You’re at the ocean in about 3–5 minutes. Overall, everything was smooth, clean and well thought through.
