Breakfast was not queried regarding type nor items requierd. A pre selection card the previous evening, as per our many previous bookings is the solution. The accomodation was very cold and obviously not been heated for a few weeks. Not exactly a warm welcome. We requested that the heating be turned on, naturally, after 1 hour, no heat, 3 hours after arrival, the radiators were warm, we were leaving for dinner, returning 2 hours later, the heating was acceptable. One and a half hours later, the heating was turned off. We were both cold on retiring to bed. The rooms were warm the next morning but the bathroom was cold even though there is an electrically heated towel rail. A lovely place spoiled by attention to detail, I won't go onto the minor rectifications needed in the bathroom. Draw your own conclusions.

GBLovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Thoughtful extras such as range of herbal teas. Perfect for dogs- the paddock and nearby fields meant that there were plenty of places to walk. The breakfast was delicious.
There was no wifi but we didn’t mind as there was good phone signal and we had brought books to read!
