Suites de Franchy

Een oase van rust op het tegenwoordig toch wel erg drukke Tenerife. Historisch pand in een fraai dorp dat in de zomer vooral een trouwlocatie is en in de winter een hotel / bed&breakfast. Ruime kamers die goed schoon gehouden worden, een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt, een mooi zwembad om aan het einde van de dag nog even te ontspannen. En wat ons het meest opviel, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Zowel de beheerder als zijn oma als de schoonmakers en verzorgers van het ontbijt; allemaal enorm vriendelijk en meewerkend. De prijs is er ook naar, maar wij raden deze locatie aan bij vrienden en familie!

Er waren wel wat kleinigheden, maar deze werden allemaal supersnel en naar wens opgelost. Daarom niet het vermelden waard!

Accueil très sympathique des propriétaires, très bel établissement avec espace piscine magnifique. Petit déjeuner de qualité, literie confortable.

Équipement de la chambre nécessiterait peut être une petite rénovation.

Zeer mooie locatie, in het oude centrum van de stad Centraal gelegen voor uitstappen over gans noord-Tenerife Behoorlijk goed ontbijt. Wel te overwegen om bij te kille morgen, binnen te kunnen eten. Dat kon nu niet. Alvaro is een zeer goede host en bekommerd om zijn gasten. Geen vraag te veel.

Our stay at Suites de Franchy was exceptional. This is a small, family run B&B only open for a small portion of the year. It is a beautiful old villa wonderfully decorated with antiques. Our room was just lovely. Each morning breakfast is served in the elegant common area, and one can sit outside to eat in a pretty patio - resting in the shade, looking up at the snow capped Mt Teide as the water fountain trickles behind you. The gardens and pool are a special, peaceful place to relax in the sun. The house is perfectly placed to explore the magical little town of La Orotava. And with the a local tavern and pizza place just adjacent, life is made is easy for those with a small family! A wonderful time, and the family who run the hotel are all incredibly welcoming and generous in their hospitality. Could not recommend highly enough.

A secret escape. Despite the rain (typical for us!), the luxury of room and house made it a memorable trip. Wonderful breakfast. Lovely people. Fab restaurants right next to house. Booking to return..

The building itself was really lovely – beautifully furnished, spotless, clean, and comfortable. But the standout was the warm welcome from Mita who rustled up a meal from nowhere for us, and from Conrad who was charming and helpful. Made for a delightful stay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful house and very welcoming host

A truly amazing place to stay owned by a charming family with history and traditions. You feel like a dear guest. The breakfast is great, the rooms and the common areas are elegantly decorated and impeccably clean.
