"Delightful - room, location, views, owner, everything!"

Everything about the Canyons is delightful. It's less than 10 minutes drive from Queenstown, but that's enough to get away from light pollution, so watching the stars come out at night as it got darker (lying in the jacuzzi) was a really gorgeous experience. Lots of lovely little touches, view of the Shotover river, Jennie the owner is delightful etc etc. Will definitely be going back, will try winter next time as would be very cosy and the views would be even more stunning.

Nothing, was such a nice place to stay, even the sheep had an entertaining back story!

"A perfect couple of days to finish of 10 days in the South Island."

Property was absolutely stunning. A rare treat. Pictures do not justify how beautiful it was. Lovely large room, in pristine condition and a very comfortable bed. We chose to have the continental breakfast which was exquisite and very generous. Enjoyed a glass of wine and taking in the extraordinary views each evening.
