Everything, this property is gorgeous! It’s close enough to Queenstown to enjoy the fun, and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our room was superb, the view breathtaking, the bathroom is enormous - we recommend The Canyons to everyone! Watching the Shotover Jet from our patio was a fantastic bonus!

Fabulous hosts, very welcoming and met us on arrival. Breakfast is highly recommended as an experience itself, wheeled on a trolley to your door.Spectacular views of Coronet Peak and Shotover River from the room. Used the hot tub and was a beautiful view.

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful property, making it a truly unforgettable experience. Jennie's genuine hospitality and attention to detail added a personal touch that made the stay extra special. The location is absolutely breath-taking, nestled among mountains with a serene river flowing nearby. The views are nothing short of spectacular, offering a sense of peace and tranquillity that’s hard to find elsewhere. The rooms were cosy and well-maintained, perfectly complementing the natural beauty outside. If you’re looking for a place where nature meets comfort and hospitality, this is the perfect getaway.

Loved the location. It was far from town, but tucked away enough where you felt like you were in a secluded location.

Everything, the view, the hosts, the location, the room. Everything has been beyond perfect

It was love at first sight. From the moment we walked into our room, with the view of the mountains in front of us, the valley with its meandering river below, the landscaped grounds surrounded by bushes, trees and a profusion of gorgeous flowers, we were transfixed. The room was spacious, elegant, and bright in bringing the outdoors in. The details in terms of amenities with the decor and a bunch of small touches made us wish we were there for a week. The communications with the owners, Jennie and Matt, were warm and informative. As beautiful as the website is and no matter the many glowing reviews, there was something about this place that will stay with us forever. It was so darn special. Plus the quiet location with access to so many places to visit made it the best “coming home to” at the end of our two days. Finally the outdoor furniture, lovely large piano with a hot tub steps away also added to its charm.

The property location is stunning, the room well appointed and large, bed was comfy and the deep soaking tub was a very pleasant surprise! Jennie was wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast she brings to your room is outstanding and full of personal touches. The views of the canyon from the room and the outdoor facilities made us wish we had booked a longer stay! Highly recommend this property to all!

Byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni że wybraliśmy The Canyons! Jennie jest niezwykle uprzejma i tworzy atmosferę domu z dala od domu ale również zapewnia prywatność. Przykłada wagę do detali: eleganckie filiżanki i czajniczki do herbaty, codziennie inne kwiaty w wazonie, sól do kąpieli etc. Obiekt jest czysty a ogród piękny, w listopadzie był w pełni kwitnienia. Otoczenie daje wyciszenie po intensywnym dniu. Pokój był duży, w łazience i wanna i prysznic. Miłą niespodzianką były szlafroki. Śniadanie smaczne. Dojazd i wskazówki dojazdu dobrze opisane i oznakowane.

Jedynym minusem był fakt, że łazienka nie była ogrzewana. W chłodne dni po nocy, rano było naprawdę zimno w łazience. W pokoju był grzejnik ale często się wyłączał. Na szczęście łóżko miało ciepła kołdrę, przytulny pled i podgrzewany materac. A w drugiej części pobytu pogoda się poprawiła i było lepiej.

Eine mega Aussicht und Terasse. Tolles Zimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche. Super nette Gastgeberin und ein richtig tolles Frühstück. Unbedingt empfehlenswert, auch für länger. Mit Hotpool. Auto ist von Vorteil für den Weg in die Stadt.
