Short walk to the Three Cities-Valetta Ferry and multiple restaurants. The building has a lift/elevator which is immensely helpful. The terrace has plants, creating a comforting ambiance.

No one was at the building during my stay but I knew there was no housekeeping services that week. Breakfast area was roped off so I determined it was not available in spite of food on the counters. However, a short walk to Cafe Rouge. The local church bells rang during the night, but that cannot be helped.

The location in Bormla is excellent - just a one‑minute walk to the bus stop and only two minutes to the ferry, which makes getting to Valletta and around the Three Cities incredibly easy. Another detail I appreciated was the abundance of fresh, beautifully scented towels. It’s a small touch, but one that made the stay feel especially comfortable and cared for.

There were a few aspects that made the stay less comfortable. The room had a noticeable sight and smell of damp and mould, which I assume is related to the age of the building. The window above the gate couldn’t be closed as it was made of wood (there was no glass at all, just a net), so noise from the street carried into the room, along with the chiming of the church bells literally every fifteen minutes. Since we stayed on the ground floor (Room 1), it’s possible that upper‑floor rooms have better soundproofing and don’t experience the same damp issues, especially as the photos of the property looked lovely - so it may simply have been our luck with the specific room. We only stayed for one night and left at 4 a.m. due to an early flight, and while I wouldn’t have been able to stay in that particular room for a longer period, it did serve its purpose for a few hours of rest and a shower.

Beautiful entrance way and gardens, and enjoyed a little time by the pool and view.

A little more natural light in the bedroom would be nice

The kindness and service we received from Maria was exceptional.

The property is stunning, the room was amazing, clean, spacious, unfortunately I did met Maria in my stay, I want to appreciate the upgrade room! I recommend this place without doubt

The room 2 were girls I suppose 🤔 which they are so loud during the night, I couldn’t sleep before 1am, but is a human behaviour nothing to do with the Maria’s place !
