Annesdale House

Location great for walking into Winderemere and travelling around the area. Breakfast beautifully presented and very tasty. A very welcoming owner who wanted to make sure everything was just right. Really pretty garden and patio area to enjoy

The steps into the room may not suit everyone but handrails provided

the landlady was very gentle and helpful, provides us excellent tips to tour around the lake. She offered to drive me to the train station when she found that I was in a hurry although the house is just a few minutes walk from the station

A lovely quite spot , beautifully furnish bed too and sitting area , outside patio with view of lovely garden we were lucky to have glorious sunshine, The owner Alena served us excellent breakfast nothing too much trouble, very convenient for shops cafes and public transport.

The host is lovely and very supportive during the whole time. The bedroom was great, private, very nice view, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good also (the croissant is amazing). Location is very good also, near loads of services and easy trekking.

Exceptional. Exceeded expectations. Alena is incredible and exceptionally thoughtful. One of the best stays we have ever experienced. Thank you for being absolutely accommodating. Excellent location... Couldn't ask for a better overall stay in every way. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast, fantastic stay.

Excellent breakfast. Short walk into Windermere (in my wheelchair). Short walk to bus station if required. We used one to take us down to Bowness & lake ferries.
