Beautiful property

Alena the owner was absolutely lovely and very attentive. Great breakfasts, super convenient location to Windermere town yet a nice and quiet spot. A very homely feel to the space and nice touches like milk being in the fridge in your room are appreciated! Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful room(s) in a stunning Victorian house. Spotlessly clean, everything you needed to have a lovely break away. The garden was amazing too. We had our own private terrace leading on to the garden. Alena was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable of the area, nothing was too much trouble. Freshly cooked breakfast served in the dining room of Alenas beautiful home.

Fantastic location. Lovely room with French doors opening out onto the private patio & beautiful garden. Alena was the perfect host she couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was superb.

We absolutely loved our stay at Annesdale House. Alena and Roger were wonderful hosts, and we felt so privileged that they opened up their beautiful home to us. Our room was gorgeous and roomy, and had a stunning view of their incredibly peaceful garden. Despite being super close to the station (an excellent location when travelling by train from London or wanting to go on day trips throughout the Lake District by bus), all we could hear was the twittering of the birds. Special mention must also go to the spacious bathroom, which comes with both a large bath and a separate rain shower. And, of course, we cannot forget Alena's delicious breakfasts. Annesdale House really felt like a luxurious home-away-from-home and we cannot wait to stay there again!

The property is really spacious and modern with a particularly great bathroom. The hosts were really nice and made us feel welcome the whole time. It's also very close to the orrest head and Windermere walks and some nice restaurants.
