Osborne House B&B Workington

Friendly hosts who could not have been more helpful. I am vegan and they went out of their way to accommodate my diet. Fabulous breakfast (my non vegan partner loved his too). Fridge in the room was helpful and the B&B was very centrally situated but tucked away on a quiet road. Highly recommend.

Excellent hosts and breakfast 1st class

The room was lovely and the en suite was great, lovely shower and a recess in the wall in the shower meant you had somewhere to put everything like shower gel and shampoo, very well thought out. Poor pillows are a real bug bare of mine but their pillows were the best ive come across in a b&b 10/10. Fresh milk in the fridge and a decent selection of tea was good to see. All the produce served at breakfast was local and well cooked so all in all it was a good stay.

The room was on the second floor and although it wasnt particularly warm outside the room was very warm so a fan would have been ideal. The shelf with the towels on was over the toilet so when you opened the shower door you couldnt possibly reach the towels so you had to put them on the floor to get them when you'd had your shower. There was no shelf in the bathroom, i use contact lenses so nowhere to put them when i took them out, nowhere to put toothpaste, toothbrush etc. Curtain track very flimsy and poorly fixed, i was very careful when i drew the curtains but some of it still came off so curtains couldnt be drawn properly. Curtains and blinds very light in colour so let lots of light in.

Breakfast was fabulous… Bed very cosy Even coffee machine and fancy TV in room…!

The cleanliness , the owners were lovely and so helpful We had an exceptional experience at Osborne House. From the moment we arrived, the hosts—a lovely couple—made us feel incredibly welcome. Their hospitality was unmatched; they were attentive without being intrusive and even accommodated an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. The property is beautiful, impeccably clean, and maintains a very quaint, relaxing atmosphere. The standout was the breakfast: an amazing selection featuring high-quality, local produce that provided the perfect start to our day. We couldn't fault a single thing and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. We look forward to returning.

Breakfast was excellent, with locally sourced produce. Location was great for the coast.

The house was very easy to access and near town center
