Nothing is likeable other than the look of the hotel from outside.

This is probably the worst property in shillong. Would recommend to keep this property as the last resort to everyone. Very pathetic small rooms with no windows,no views. Absolutely bogus! Moreover while checking out we found that they had some better rooms as well which were empty but they allotted other worse rooms to us willfully. Even the hospitality was not at all upto the mark.

The cooperation of staff, accommodating staff behaviour specially the kitchen crew and one competent staff member named Henry at the reception desk is top notch. . Food is freshly prepared and doesn't trouble the gut. Food menu is exhaustive and all items are available. Fast acting geyser, good water pressure. Handheld showerhead. Battery backup during power cuts. Breakfast is included. More variety can be added to the hot items in breakfast. Washroom and toilet available in both the lobby and 1st floor restaurant. Clean kitchen as far as I could see. Clean washrooms of the lobby and restaurant. Aesthetically pleasing restaurant and lobby. Restaurant needs stand fans or ceiling fans.

This is about Room 202: Watch your head while climbing up the bathroom because the bathroom door frame is inadequate. I had bumped my head for a couple of times before learning to bend down while going to he bathroom. Room size very small, 12 feet by 13 feet room. Bathroom tiny may be 8 feet by 4 feet. The bed takes up 70 percent of the space, the table should have been square to fit the room better than the round shape. Room feels congested due to the lack of windows, nil-to-poor ventilation. Non soaking foot mats in front of bathrooms means the floor becomes wet after using the bathroom and the floor then does not dry up quickly due to lack of windows or exhaust fan/ port. Bathrooms do not have ventilation too. Fan speed needs to be higher. Cannot dial room service from room's telephone. The price of the room is disproportionately more compared to its size. My take to improve the property would be to unlock the windows or add adequate ventilation openings in the wall. Add an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Unlock the window in the bathroom. Replace the rubber foot mats with absorbent foot mats in front of the bathroom. Have a small diesel generator only for water pump since power cuts hamper early movement of guests for sight seeing. Reduce the rent of the rooms in proportion to the size, a total of Rs.5300+ for a double bed for two nights in quite high.

Everything is very very good. Parking is there. Wifi is there. Room service is there. Big dining room and restaurant is there. Super value for money. The complementary breakfast is also very very good. Staffs are nice. Location is nice. Plus the hotel is so much beautiful. You will feel like you are in a big 5 star resort
