Vicolo 8

We loved how central the property was — right in the heart of Sorrento with everything within easy walking distance, but tucked away on a quiet side street so it still felt peaceful, safe and very local. The apartment itself was spotless and very well looked after. What really made our stay exceptional was the host, Antonino, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He met us at the station, helped carry our luggage through the town and up to the apartment, gave fantastic local recommendations, helped arrange excursions, make reservations and was incredibly thoughtful throughout our stay. We genuinely felt so well looked after and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Sorrento ended up being one of my favorite stops in Italy during our two weeks! Why you may ask… Antonino and his property! First of all, Antonino is such a friendly, considerate and big-hearted person. When I needed medical care, Antonino made an appointment & walked me to his doctor. He walked us to the train station at 4:30 AM in the rain, insisting on taking our luggage as he handed us each an umbrella. Incredible! His property is centrally located, just a three minute walk to the heart of Sorrento, Piazza Tasso. Corso Italia is even closer! Walkable from train station and Marina Piccola. His property is spotless, comfortable, absolutely quiet, and refreshed each day with housekeeping & restocking of refrigerator and plentiful breakfast tray.

We had a fantastic stay at Vicolo 8 and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, Antonino went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He kindly met us at the bus station, helped carry our luggage, and made the entire arrival process effortless. Throughout our stay, he was exceptionally helpful, always available with recommendations and advice. His restaurant suggestions were excellent and allowed us to experience some wonderful local dining options that we might otherwise have missed. The accommodation itself was perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The location could not have been better. It is only a one-minute walk from the main street, putting restaurants, shops, and local attractions right on your doorstep. Despite being so centrally located, the property is remarkably quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep after a busy day of sightseeing. The convenience of the location extends even further, with both the ferry port and train station only a five-minute walk away. This made exploring the surrounding area incredibly easy and stress-free. Breakfast was another thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Each morning, water and juice were provided along with a selection of breakfast items. What made it especially convenient was that everything was individually packaged, so if we were heading out early or didn't feel like eating straight away, we could take it with us and enjoy it later in the day as a snack while exploring. One thing to note for future guests is that the property requires climbing two flights of stairs. This was not an issue for us at all, but it may be something to consider for anyone with mobility concerns or difficulty managing stairs. Overall, Vicolo 8 exceeded our expectations in every way.

Ideal location, perfect accommodations, outstanding host. We are so happy that we booked Antonino’s place. The place is tucked away, but extremely close to the main square and Corso Italia. The room had all we needed and it was exceptionally clean and tidy. Antonio couldn’t have been more helpful - it was like staying with family. Thank you, Antonino, for helping make our stay in Sorrento so memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at Antonino’s place in Sorrento. Even though we only stayed for one night, Antonino made us feel incredibly welcome from the very beginning. He kindly came to pick us up at the train station, helped us carry our luggage, and showed us the way to the accommodation, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Sorrento. Antonino also gave us some excellent local recommendations that made our visit even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how friendly, flexible, and responsive he was throughout our stay. Communication was always quick and easy, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We highly recommend staying here and would gladly come back in the future. Best location! Walking distance to everything we needed , restaurants / shops / beach / port . Very clean + all the extra amenities was a great bonus !

Najbardziej podobało nam się absolutnie wszystko. Apartament był przepiękny, bardzo czysty i komfortowy. Lokalizacja idealna, wszędzie blisko, a jednocześnie spokojnie i klimatycznie. Czuliśmy się tam wyjątkowo od pierwszej chwili. Największe wrażenie zrobił jednak właściciel , nigdy wcześniej nie spotkałam tak cudownej, serdecznej i pomocnej osoby. Pomagał nam we wszystkim, zawsze uśmiechnięty, życzliwy i dostępny. Dzięki niemu ten pobyt był jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowy. To miejsce zasługuje na więcej niż 10/10. Z całego serca polecamy i na pewno jeszcze wrócimy.

Szczerze? Nie było rzeczy, która by nam się nie podobała. Wszystko było perfekcyjne , apartament, atmosfera, lokalizacja i przede wszystkim niesamowity właściciel. Żałujemy jedynie, że nasz pobyt trwał tak krótko.
