The owner, the cleanliness of the rooms, the price

The location is a bit far from the main city. If you like peace and quiet, it will suit you but if you want to go around exploring the markets, that might be difficult.

Hospitality was great. They gave room in ground floor on request. Home cooked food. Clean and well maintained spacious rooms

1. The rooms are big with plenty of spaces to store your luggage, 2. Hot water available in the bathroom - you need to switch on the geyser 30 minutes before you want to use it. 3. Wi-fi 4. He was courteous to give us a ride on our first morning to the road by the Dal Lake. He dropped us there on his way to a relative's house. He also informed us about the local markets.

1) It's absolutely not livable in winter, particularly not in the months of December/ January. 2) We were given electric blankets for the beds. However, there was no room-heaters available. It was shivering cold and impossible to set foot in the room or sit comfortably without constantly using the blanket. Our host bought a small heater the next day and gave it to us - it obviously didn't heat up even a fraction of the room. We shifted out to a local hotel after somehow managing to stay for 2 nights. 3) He also suggested that it's better to eat vegetarian (we realized the suggestion was to minimize the food cost and maximize his profit, so we didn't take food there except the first night). The first night's food was great. 4) He didn't offer us drinking water also for our rooms. When we asked for some, he was visibly annoyed and asked us, how could we finish up the water so quickly! Then he gave us a jug of cold water. 5) He even charged us for the tea which he served as a welcome drink.

I really enjoyed my stay at this guest house. I went there in December 2022 with my family. The host is very warm and welcoming and the vibe is super homely. The facilities provided made my stay very comfortable and the rooms and bathroom were clean as well. They provided us with electric blankets that kept us warm throughout the night even when the temperature outside was dropping to -2°C and the food provided at they stay was homemade and delicious. The host himself drove us around to wherever we wished to go and also suggested us various places we should visit and took us to shops where we might get affordable stuff. Overall my experience of this guesthouse has been really good which made the trip really one of the best best trips that I have been to.

Myself and partner stayed for 5 days with mushtaq and his family and had an amazing time, with amazing food and great company. The family was extremely accomodating, and it has become a home away from home for us. Went above and beyond for us, answering all our questions and helping us best experience srinagar etc. Could not recommend a better stay in srinagar and kashmir

Rooms & The Hospitality of Mushtak Bhai was great.

Location was nice, Host is an excellent and friendly man. Support tourists a lot . We enjoyed a lot due to our host in Srinagar. It was a memorable experience.

1. Wonderful Host cum guide cum driver. Owner Mushtaq was a virtuoso. 2. Owner and his wife actually managed to provide us warm and fresh rice, dal, vegetable curry and non-veg dish every morning after my wife said that all of us were used to taking full meal as breakfast. 3. Quality of food was very homely and good. 4. Rooms were quite large, there was attached kitchen in one room and toilets were large and very clean. 5. Mushtaq never demanded any payment. I had to ask him several times for his bills. 6. Everywhere we went, Mushtaq drove us and guided us so that we were not made to pay exorbitant rates. 7. Every small requirements were fulfilled as soon as mentioned. 8. Good back-up team. His family members chipped in whenever Mushtaq was away for some social commitments.

1. Only minor shortcoming was not getting to view Dal lake from our room. But we could see the hills and sunrise from our rooms. So we never felt we missed anything.

Hospitality is very very good.I am very happy.
