The rooms were very spacious and clean, the farm was great to walk around too

We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Bev and her husband were amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful and we wished we were staying longer. The room was very spacious and clean, and the view was to die for. This was a last-minute booking due to another place not securing our booking, but it will definitely be our first choice from now on. Thanks for the great stay.

There was nothing to dislike for us.

The location & scenery was excellent.

No security locks, when going out.(Acacia Room). Mattresess were extremely 'worn', and most definitely need to be replaced. Bedside cabinets, scuffed & 'worn'. Painted Grey, unprofessional sight! Quilt was again 'very patchy', probably as old as the farmhouse. Bedsheets not cleaned professionally, we're not 'pristine & crisp', appeared unironed. HEAD BOARDS OF TWO SINGLE BEDS, JOINED TOGETHER. MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS WE HAD HAD TO SLEEP IN IN OUR NUMEROUS FARMHOUSE BREAKS. Bins not emptied at all over 5 day period, rooms not cleaned at all over 5 days. Cupboard shelves not dusted, covered with a now 'discoloured' net curtain. Tea / Coffee facilities never replenished, we had to ask for tea bags, milk... rationed. No comfortable chair in room, had to ask for one, given a rickety old chair. Sink in bathroom most impractical, more like a 'Barbie' sink. Toilet under a 'sloped roof', knocked my head a couple of times in the night. 'Door knobs /handles' far too near the door frames, my wife had her finger caught, causing a sore thumb. Could not be comfortable to use the lounge, because it was the owners own lounge, too... where Ian watched his TV 'lying' on the settee. I would not recommend this farmhouse for the prices we paid. Booked this relying on past reviews. BREAKFAST. Nothing to shout about, NOT an English or Continental. Not "eat as much as you can . Only ONE hot croissant per person, butter also rationed was not enough for two healthy eating pensioners. All in all a great disappointment.....

If you go to Devon England, be sure to experience something nice and pristine. You've all watched Fireman Sam, The Shoe People, Percy The Part Keeper, Postman Pat or Shaun the Sheep and this place kind of reminds you of all those cartoons. You just feel like at home with all the hospitality of the owners. Rooms are very nice, spacious, modern and cozy. I'd go back at this very moment.

There is nothing I can come up with. The local road might lead you through some narrow shrubbery corridors, but luckly there is almost no traffic there.
