Everything was great

Aparna and all the staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, with a varied and tasty menu, and lots of suggestions of things to do around Dharamkot. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with great views across the valley. Would definitely recommend the Unmad if you are coming to Dharamkot, but if coming in winter, it can be very cold!

This place is something really special, mostly thanks to the host, who is incredibly warm, caring, and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The location is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by mountains, with absolutely stunning views that make you feel instantly relaxed. The food at their café is delicious, honestly some of the best we had, especially momos, and the staff are just as kind and welcoming as the host. If you need anything at all — laundry, small requests, or help with anything — the host is always happy to assist. It’s the kind of place where you genuinely feel looked after, and I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

The only small suggestion would be to make the rooms a bit warmer during colder seasons, for example by improving insulation, as nights can get quite chilly. That said, heaters are provided, and this didn’t affect our stay at all. Everything else was so wonderful that I left feeling completely recharged, full of energy, and with memories I’ll never forget.

As a single female traveler, I felt really comfortable at the Unmad. There is a lovely, welcoming ambience with like-minded travelers who are friendly and happy to chat. I stayed there for 6 nights and the food was yummy:) I like that the kitchen opened at 8am (great for early birds like myself) It was also a pleasure to chat with Krishan and Aparna each day - they are the cofounders and their hard work and dedication for the Unmad really shows:) lovely stay!

Stunning property and the hosts were even more amazing! So friendly, so helpful, tasty food and clean bathrooms and rooms. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a chill vibe!
