"An excellent location for a stay to explore Westport and Achill Island, with great Wheaten Bread!"

In the past I have stayed in Westport or down at the Quays. This time we stayed up the hill with a great view of Croagh Patrick in this beautifully built B&B run by Angela and her husband. Time down into the Mall was no more than coming up from the Quays. Excellent breakfasts especially her home made wheaten which we discussed her recipes. Nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend it for a stay in Westport and to drive around Achill Island

I would have to miserable to find faults.

L'emplacement est top, très accessible, lits confortables, Angela était très chaleureuse et accueillante. Excellent petit déjeuner, notamment le porridge fait maison et l'irish bread.

Carrabaun House is a wonderful place to stay in a quiet location just outside Westport. Francis and Angela are delightful hosts and have made their B&B excellent in every way. Our room had a lovely view of Croagh Patrick and their perfectly tended lawn and garden. The room was exceptionally clean and well thought-out. The hot breakfast was delicious and plentiful, featuring Angela's homemade breads and compote. Talking with the hosts was an extra treat. We hope to return someday!
