Petit Ermitage is perfectly located in a quiet street just a stones throw away from all the cafes and restaurants. The property is immaculately presented inside and out, not to mention the peaceful pool area which was a private sanctuary for reading my book in the afternoon sunshine. James the host was extremely accommodating and a lovely man to say the least. Special shoutout to Norma who cooked up a delicious feast each morning at breakfast. Thank you so much, our stay here could not have been better.

The host was very welcoming and communicative. It felt like I was staying with family. The place was private, spacious and clean, and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was made with care, attention, and love. And the location was perfect. I felt very lucky to have found this wonderful property.

The property was in walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and most importantly, the Franschhoek wine tram. We were fortunate enough to get driven there by our host. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful and had loads of suggestions on what to do around Franschhoek. We really enjoyed our stay at Petit Ermitage! The bed was comfortable, the shower was spectacular and the rest of the place was very cosy. Everything was well thought out and executed.

Property works really well for a couple and is ideally located for the location

The breakfast was exceptional with many choices. The location was superb. quiet street but close to main Franschoek high street.

Beautifully appointed, the cottage has everything one might need for short or longer stay. Comfortable, clean, tranquil - we had great short stay. Pool was divine and so was the breakfast cooked by Norma! I appreciated the vegetarian sausages and the message (and bottle of wine) to wish us on our anniversary. James is a fantastic host and it was a pleasure to meet him and have this “home away from home” experience.
