The Coach House

Nach 2006und 2009 waren wir 2025 wieder hier. Es hat nichts von seinem Charme verloren und ist mit vielen Details liebevoll ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Wir waren in dem Zimmer Nr. 8 (das gab es in den früheren Jahren noch nicht). Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Bad ist großzügig mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Man hat eine kleine private Terrasse. Es hat einen wunderschönen Garten, der liebevoll gepflegt wird. Das Coach House liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral. Ein hervorragendes Restaurant ist das "Epice" in Franschoek, nur ein paar Minuten vom Coach House entfernt.

Our host David was gracious and welcoming, attending to whatever request we had. The property is lovely - modern and spotless. There is plenty of modern, comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors, including chaise lounges by the pool and a large dining table and chairs. My partner and I stayed in the Classic Loft room, and while it did not have windows with a view, the large skylights offered plenty of natural light. They have retractable blinds that shut out all the outside light, even in mid day, ensuring a comfortable light-free sleep. This room is very spacious with plenty of storage options. It is equipped with a large streaming TV, coffee and tea, a mini fridge, wine glasses. The bathroom is very comfortable and bright, with a large walk in shower and fresh fluffy towels. The breakfast offered a buffet of fruits, cereals, breads jams and honey, yoghurt, and juices, David prepared cappuccinos for us. We could then order a cooked breakfast of eggs any style or omelet, with bacon and toast. We never left hungry. All in all a very pleasant stay. I wish this guest house was closer to home ! We ate some cheese, crackers and Rose wine from the local Woolworths in our room on tow evenings (we'd been over indulging a lunch on those wine tours), and David was happy to provide us with plates and cutlery.

What a fantastic find! The most beautiful guest house in an ideal location a minutes walk to all the restaurants for dinner yet quiet and peaceful. A modern and stylish home with wonderfully welcoming hosts is where the most delicious breakfast is served. A spacious lounge and veranda can also be enjoyed at any time. The few rooms were like little individual bungalows surrounding the small pool in the beautiful garden that was lit up at night with fairy lights. Our room had everything we could have hoped for, luxury linens and plump pillows along with Netflix access. Franschhoek never disappoints, great shops and restaurants and the wine tram was a joy and a must. We will be back!

Schönes kleines Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Super Frühstück. Alles bestens!!

Die Lage ist sehr gut! Man fühlt sich auch am Abend sehr wohl nach Hause zu gehen. Sehr schöner Garten, nette Zimmer mit Balkon. Gutes Frühstück mit sehr guten frischen Früchten. Frisch gemachte Speisen aus Eiern. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Im Badezimmer war es leider kalt.
