La terrazza di Girgenti

La ubicación y la atención del dueño. Hay nevera donde dejar tus cosas y una mesa para prepararte el desayuno.

La terraza no es como en las fotos. Está muy descuidada y está todo lleno de heces de paloma y hay una silla y unas sillas en mal estado. El aire acondicionado hacía muchísimo ruido y en general le hace falta mantenimiento. Relación calidad-precio, caro para lo que ofrecen las instalaciones.

A lovely small hotel (4 rooms). The owner lives in the building too. The bedrooms are great and the views from the quiet rooftop terrace are spectacular. It's very convenient for the main road with all its restaurants and shops. The nature of the old town means it's quite hard to find the first time, but once you've found it it's easy to get your bearings and navigate. There's a mini market about 50 steps away. It took us about 40 minutes to walk to the Valley of the Temples at a leisurely pace.

The communal kitchen area is a bit basic, we only used it to make coffee.

Very helpful host who came to pick our suitcase in front of Duomo with his furgoncino. Spacious and clean room with cute balcony and nice view. Very central location.

It’s hardly approachable by foot with suitcases if not assisted by the host. There are many stairs to walk from the place where you can park. Top floor common area balcony is not as in the photo- the view yes but no furniture up there. That was quite disappointing. 😕

Everything was good value for money. Simple place to stay to explore Agrigento. Easy self check-in. Good view from the terrace.

Best to arrive in daylight.

It was nicely decorated & clean

The terrace is an empty space with 4 chairs battling each other’s.. no table or other furniture. There is a kettle but no cups or plates. This place can’t be called a bed and breakfast it is a bed and no breakfast possible on site.

The room itself was okay. It was clean. Bed was comfortable.

It was very hard to locate. GPS was useless. Parking was very difficult. Not accommodating to tourists. Owners didn’t speak English (we don’t speak Italian). Rooftop terrace was filthy, but the view of Agrigento was good.
