Sant'Alfonso

Lo staff, nella persona di Behnam, ci ha fatto sentire a casa fin dal primo momento in cui siamo arrivati. Senza ombra di dubbio, il b&b non avrebbe lo stesso valore senza di lui. Dall’accoglienza alla permanenza passando dalla colazione siamo stati trattati in modo eccellente da una persona che sa fare il suo lavoro e sa stare con le persone. Indimenticabile.

La struttura di per sé è in una bella posizione in quanto la visuale dalla camera e dalla cucina in cui veniva servita la colazione era vista mare. Peccato però che essendo in cima alla città, tutto ciò di cui potreste avere bisogno o le vie principali si trovino almeno a dieci minuti a piedi scendendo… e il risalire è abbastanza faticoso. Sfortunatamente il letto è stato un’esperienza terribile in quanto molto duro e scomodo e i cuscini sembravano dei mattoni. Abbiamo passato due notti con molti risvegli, dovuti anche alla pessima insonorizzazione della struttura e della camera stessa (chiacchiere e musica per strada, cani, …) che fa sembrare di avere tutti i rumori quasi in camera. A proposito di quest’ultima, ci è stata data una bella camera però letteralmente accanto alla cucina in cui veniva servita la colazione e, avendo i muri di cartongesso, la mattina ci siamo svegliati al primo caffè preso dagli altri ospiti che giustamente parlavano ad un tono di voce normale. Sinceramente, come già scritto sopra, senza Behnam questa struttura avrebbe ricevuto un 5, peccato.

Lovely location right in the old town near The Duomo. Modern room with excellent shower and comfy bed. Breakfast overlooking the town with fresh pastries or eggs how you like them. Loved the personal touches, restaurant recommendations and the information about the best locations to visit.

The tap by the sink wobbled and it did get hot in the bathroom without an extractor fan.

Il soggiorno al b&b è stato perfetto! Camera e bagno molto ampi, dotati di ogni comfort. Comodo anche per la posizione in centro storico e molto accogliente grazie alla timida presenza di Benny, disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. É stato un piacere soggiornare lì.

Arriving late in the evening, due an issue with the trains, we were so grateful that Benny stayed up to welcome us. Infact, Benny really was the perfect host, looking after our every needs and providing a delicious breakfast. The room had a lovely view over to the sea and the bathroom was huge and luxurious. Whilst you'll get fit climbing up the stairs to the B&B, you'll be rewarded with the views and being situated in a relaxed part of the town with a couple of nice restaurants/bars. Agrigento tends to get slightly bad press, but we found it to be a really friendly town, with a lively main street, full of places to eat and drink. The Valley of the Temples is certainly worth the hype, but you need to give yourself plenty of time to do it justice. We walked down to it in the evening, when it was cooler and got the local bus back up the hill afterwards.

La disponibilità e la gentilezza del gestore Benny, ci fa sentire come a casa propria. Colazione buona, curata nei dettagli, offerta in una sala con vista meravigliosa. Camera come da nostra scelta.

Las instalaciones inmejorables. Todo nuevo. La ubicación perfecta y fácil para estacionar. Lo mejor de todo, la atención de Benny! Estuvo en todos los detalles.

Zeer hulpvaardige gastheer, fantastische kamer en goed ontbijt. Lekker restaurant op 20 meter.

Benny is a great host. He was very welcoming and friendly. The room was in an excellent condition, spacious, clean, comfortable bed. If we were to go back to Agrigento, we would definitely stay in BnB Sant'Alfonso.

Suite gradevole con terrazzino con panorama sul mare e valle dei templi in lontananza.

Posizione scomoda per l'accesso ai mezzi di trasporto.

Benny was a great host and gave us a good tip of where to eat dinner. The B&B is in a very cute street down stairs from the main road where you can park for free. Fantastic shower pressure!
