Lovely stay at the homestead! Views were amazing, very peaceful, breakfast was yummy.

FYI - the road to the homestead is very narrow. We had a larger car and would have preferred a smaller one if we had known there was a very narrow road.

A lovely place to stay in beautiful countryside. The farmhouse was traditional and homely. Our host was very kind and helpful. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. Highly recommended.

"A very comfortable 2 night stay with excellent breakfasts"

Breakfast was excellent, room and facilities were as expected at for an old farmhouse and very comfortable. Located in a very quiet location, but in easy reach of local pubs and Ambleside.

The only slight negative is that the road to the farm is single track with inadequate passing places, which could be a problem for nervous drivers.
