Great location, friendly and quiet.

A TV in the bedroom would be nice although it was good to have a sitting room.

Everything!, the property is in a quiet location, the owners have a high and welcoming approach to guests.

There is nothing to dislike about this property

Continental selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt was delicious. The cooked breakfast, although freshly cooked had everything on the plate, I personally don't like beans, black pudding or mushrooms and was not offered a choice of how the egg was cooked. I think a pre order breakfast menu would be helpful in this case. Although I didn't manage to eat the croissants, they were served hot from the oven, which if I had been able to try one I know I would have appreciated greatly.

Whilst I appreciated the age of the building and it's quirkiness, the main light in the bedroom was hanging very low, my husband, who needs to use the toilet several times through the night did bang his head several times, no damage to either but he was "startled". Although the bathroom is magnificent with a free standing bath and walk in shower, a shower mat and/or a grab handle would have made me feel safer when showering.

Loved the place, such a lot to look at & the people were lovely too NB they serve afternoon teas in their pretty tearoom & shop, but it's very popular so book before you go if possible!

The toilet seat was loose and needed fixing, I understand its difficult to fix but it really does need fixing please.
