Great location next to the harbor. The staff is super friendly & helpful. They offer many tours and options around the island. The breakfast is great!

There's only cold water in the shower but it's like that in many places, it doesn't bother me but might be nice to know. The bathrooms are very clean though! There were no lights by the beds but if you have a lamp or a phone it's fine.

I would highly recommend to stay with Silvia and John! The place is absolutely marvelous and you will feel directly at home. The staff (Iman) is very helpful and nice. The free breakfast is delicious and made with so much care. The very cute dogs were the icing on the cake. 10 + ! Un ostello da sogno!

The staff is very nice, they helped us with some issues with the boat ticket. They offer several services with a good price: boat tour, laundry, scooter and even private transfers -which we used to go to Bromo. The location is perfect, near to the port but still in a quiet area (other streets in the island can be very noisy with scooters and mosques). The common area is very nice,specially with the dogs. There are different breakfast menus but the favorite was the homemade bread. If you’re looking for a nice hotel and helpful staff, stay here ! Thanks Silvia,John, Oni and bro!

Breakfast was tasty but the portion could have been bigger. Of course we prefer quality over quantity ;) The hot water runs out after few minutes but that’s not a big deal due the weather. It would be nice to have more storage space for longer stays.

Les hôtes Oni et Sylvia était très gentilles, de bons conseils sur les activités et restaurants sur l'île et à disposition pour réserver des excursions snorkling, un scooter et les billets de ferry. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient très propres. Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux. L'emplacement est idéal, à 3min du port à pied. Nous avons passé une super semaine à l'Isola Che, merci pour tout ! 🤗

Il manque de rangements dans la chambre pour les voyageurs qui restent plusieurs jours. La chambre donne directement sur l'espace commun et la fenêtre sur le jardin/la rue ce qui fait que l'isolation n'est pas très bonne en cas de bruit, mais Karimunjawa est une île très calme !

The hospitality is simply top-notch; you feel at ease very quickly. Oni, Silvia, Ardi, and John all helped make this stay wonderful. The dorms have air conditioning, a real plus in this very hot and humid region. All the comforts are there. They offer multiple activities, and scooter rentals are available on-site… The breakfast is truly amazing. You’ll likely make some wonderful connections here. Karimunjawa was a real love-at-first-sight destination for me, and Isola Che is part of that. A thousand thanks, take care, and I hope we’ll have the chance to meet again!

We stayed a couple of nights at Isola Che and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—just a two-minute walk from the harbor and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall vibe and friendliness of the staff made our stay even better. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Isola Che and would happily return.

We really loved our stay at the hostel - among others because we felt a bit like part of a family. We spent some time chatting with the owners and several people working in the tourist sector on Karimunjawa and enjoyed it a lot (definitely also go to the Indigo in the evening to have some quizz or chat). The employee Oni is very caring and helped us with the pickup from the ferry, the scooter rental etc. And she organized an Indonesian breakfast for us eventhough the standard one is western at the hostel. We liked spending time with her and loved the evening we went fishing with her! The common area of the hostel is very comfortable and our room was nice as well.
