Location and the garden was lovely, the breakfast was amazing the hosts were very attentive and welcoming.

Quiet place

We were on a business trip in Nijmegen and booked the B&B De Sprokkeltuin which is owned by a private host for two nights, rated 9.0 at the booking.com. What a big shock when we received these messages from the private host: 1. For 2 days? What a bullshit? 2. How the hell can I still arrange white bread? See attached print screens. We were connected with wi-fi after checking in on Friday noon but we found it was very slow, we all lost connection often and outlook could not be loaded. We messaged the host and mentioned we don’t have wi-fi but no reply. We went to work on Saturday early morning and back in the evening, wi-fi was completely gone. We called the host, voicemail. We went to the host’s place, the host wasn’t there but the babysitter told us it could be a network failure. At the same time, we requested some white and brown breads for Sunday’s breakfast, as well as some kitchen utensils because there is coffee machine but NO spoon and there is microwave but NO fork, knife and NO dishes. We went to bed very early on Saturday, no wi-fi for working, and not even a TV to watch and relax…. Very disappointing. We truly understand it can be a network failure sometimes or cannot fulfil a guest request. But for someone who works in the service line, should at least try to communicate in a pleasant and professional way, isn’t it? We are still in shock that for so many years we have been in and out from different hotels/or private hosts. We cannot forgive someone who is a so-called a “super host’ but with such a bad attitude towards guests. What a worst experience.
