The very high standard of furnishing and decor was impressive, also the immaculate breakfast table setting. The breakfast choice was excellent and delicious, local produce being used.

We felt throughly spoilt staying here. Everything was such high quality, the room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast was very, very good. It was a perfect short break

The tranquility. Away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Liz was the perfect host. Very attentive, and made the most wonderful breakfast 😋.

Poor Internet connection. No iron in room. But did find an ironing board.

Unsere Gastgeberin Liz war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich und wurde liebevoll serviert. Man ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto in Boscastle wo man einige gute und nette Restaurants findet (ebenso genügend Parkmöglichkeiten)

Really friendly and welcoming host. Breakfast cooked to order and was delicious. Good variety of breakfast options. Location was perfect. The property had a lovely area in the garden to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the views. Felt like home. Enjoyed a drink and friendly chat with the owner in the garden one evening. We had a wonderful break away. Thank you

Shower needs updating.

A farmhouse that obviously is in service for centuries as an accomodation is your thing ? Then this is exactly what you are looking for. It starts with a couple of hundred - as I learned - Suffolk sheep on the way in, to granite window frames, lovely decorated hallways and room - and it´s supersilent. The breakfast wins awards (guess why) and couldn´t be made any better - as we have been around the UK for three weeks I think I can judge that (the sausages and the bacon are locally sourced, fresh fruit everyday, etc ...).
