The Cambridge Guest House by Tas

Location was a nice walk to Cambridge city centre. A pub two doors away with really good meals and reasonably priced. The room was clean and fresh. The manager was very pleasant and helpful. There was a very good choice of breakfast.

Excellent value for money breakfast better than expected for price delivered by a friendly gentleman

L’emplacement est super, à 50 mètres du bus. La chambre était toute cosy. Très au calme et le personnel au petit déjeuner était top !

Même si cela se fait dans une grande majorité de Guest House de ne pas avoir de personne à son arrivée, j’avoue que j’apprécie toujours une personne physique pour l’accueil.

The gentleman serving breakfast was lovely and friendly. Also good coffee at breakfast. The bathroom was lovely and clean with a great shower.

This answer is for room 2. This room is on the ground floor next to the main entrance. The room was very hot but when you opened windows the main road was very noisy. Plus I had people standing by my open window smoking. The booking.com advert shows large bottles of shampoo, body wash etc. I was given a small tube of shampoo and a small block of soap. The advert states a "full english breakfast". Two slices of bacon, one fried egg and 2 slices of tomato does not a full english make.

The gentleman who cooked breakfast in the morning was lovely. Cooked breakfast was great and enough for us. Bed, shower, amenities and decor were lovely.

Would have been nice if the door to the bathroom would close properly. The lady on the phone could have been friendlier. The self check-in process could have been much clearer.

Buona colazione inglese cin prodotti freschi,, vicino fermata bus per il centro, raggiungibile a piedi comunque, diverse prese elettriche in camera

Bagno piccolo, assenza bidet ( classico inglese), lavabo scomodo (alto), camera piccola ( poco spazio per bagagli)

The Location was very good the room clean and breakfast was excellent, presentation and service
