I really liked Vlei Lofts. Great couple as hosts, we had an interesting talk together. Nice spacious room, Wifi, hot shower, self-made breakfast included with everything you could wish for, great view from the veranda, secure parking, good restaurants in the nearby mall and the beach a short drive away. I would come back anytime, recommended!

Lovely hosts, incredibly helpful and understanding of our needs. Clean and private rooms, common room looks out to a scenic vlei which distracts from the city feel. Location is central to most Cape Town activities which was perfect. The “make your own breakfast” facility was cleverly thought out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

For my needs the location was perfect. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I was upgraded to a room with a lovely view on the vlei which I really appreciated. The bed, pillows and bedding were super comfy and the towels soft and fluffy. WiFi was excellent. I did not verify with the owner, but it looked like loadshedding did not influence the establishment. The host was friendly and instructions for going out and coming in, were clear. Very good variety for a continental breakfast and thank goodness....filter coffee! There were also chocolates and popcorn available, which I unfortunately only discovered in the morning. LOL.

No points subtracted, but the stairs to the rooms are quite something to master.
