Red Tail Ranch

The ranch is in a beautiful landscape. The hot tub was prepared for using it. The terrace with the light bulbs was nice. Breakfast was good with organic jogurt and granola, but was not filled up for the next day.

There was no room Service. There was no path to the tub and kitchen, so you had to walk on the gras. It would be good to have a table to eat inside, because it was so hot.

Location was great, only 30 minutes drive to the Yosemite entrance and the view out the back was lovely. Property had everything you needed.

Looking out over the garden of poppies and lupines with buzzing bees was a wonderful experience. We visited Yosemite one whole day, but spent the next at the ranch, just relaxing in the well appointed outdoor area.

It would have been nice to meet the host. We only communicated by phone because we had to do a change over of propane tanks in the outdoor kitchen. It was farther than we thought to Yosemite and to town.

Room was nicely furnished and very clean. Great towels and comfortable bed. Nice and quiet - no road noise when out on the property and even quieter in the rooms. Nice view of the meadow. Great shower. Check in was easy

Outdoor kitchen was hot with no shade on a 95 degree day. It looks like it doesn’t get used often so a little dusty. But it was great to have. A microwave would have been nice, but it wasn’t in the listing so no surprise. It would be nice if the room had windows that weren’t on the path to the next room to be able to have more privacy with the windows open and/or to have sheer curtains as well as the blackout curtains.

Room was lovely and spacious and breakfast was perfect for on-the-go. Clean and looked like exactly like pictures.
