Sweetheart House

Great location on High Street, handy for pubs, shops and takeaways, in a traditional historic building with wooden beams and low ceilings. Can sit out in the old cobbled Courtyard if weather is good. Tv with Netflix for if it rains. Run by a lovely couple who serve a great breakfast. No parking on property, but easy to park on backstreets a short walk away. I would happily stay again.

Very minor thing, but had to access room's bathroom by traversing an area used by owners, so not totally private. Not really a problem, but worth noting if going for a shower! I believe the other room they have is completely self contained.

Breakfast excellent, host very accommodating. Lovely quiet area, parking nearby.

Room was very compact for the price we paid, not worth £98.00! No toiletries & a very cold room.

Can hear every door opening and footsteps etc... Not the best if your a light sleeper

Yoshi and John were excellent hosts. Old building but that adds to the charm. Perfect breakfast, which I enjoyed in the courtyard when the weather allowed it. Bathroom isn't en suite but private so that was not a problem.

No negative points to report to be honest :)

Breakfast was great. Location was brilliant. No parking on site. Did not have to park far away. Did not have to pay either. Lots of lovely shops. Good pub near.

Court yard has cobbled stones, this goes with area.

Great location just off the main high street perfect for walking to the Royal Oak for our evening meal. John and Yoshi were excellent hosts, very welcoming and the home made brownie was just what we needed after a day on our motorbikes. The room and ensuite was spotless. Breakfast was delicious.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.
