"Exceptional"

Fantastic stay! Lovely pub, lovely people, lovely breakfast. Location perfect and parking was ideal. Even arrived for a brilliant quiz night on the Friday evening. Can’t wait to stay again.

"Great 1st time stay."

Extremely helpful staff. Locals were very friendly and willing to chat ; especially about rugby. Dinner was great and breakfast was exceptional. Would stay again. P.S. parking is simple , lots of space.

Big bath towel but no hand towel. Add a towel 0 holding ring to the side of the sink and hey presto, perfection.

The evening meal in the pub and the breakfast were excellent. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming.

There are only 2 rooms and both are small. There is quite some noise from the nearby road.

Friendly family run business. Room was spotless and the breakfast the best I've had so far this year. A great night's sleep as well.

Quite a distance from the centre of town, but I was aware of this beforehand so not a problem for me. There is what appears to be an hourly bus service, and this worked out at £3.60 single. I wasn't able to get a VAT receipt as the business is not VAT registered, but again, I can work something with this for my expenses claim so shouldn't be a problem.

"A great value for money place to stay!"

It was very clean, with a comfortable nicely sized room. The food was delicious and very generous (dinner at the pub, and breakfast the following morning) and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating! Would recommend!!
