"Last minute find was a gem."

The host was really lovely, friendly and approachable. The room was quirky yet as it was to our taste we would say it was stylish. The breakfast was second to none.

Although the shower in our room was a little temperamental it didn't take anything away from our stay.

Blown away by the bedroom and the rest of the decor. You can tell that a lot of love and care has been put into the property. Bed was so comfy. It was nice and peaceful. I slept better than I had in ages. Breakfast was beautiful and even served on china plates. Owners were brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and it really felt like there was a personal touch. Philip even messaged when I booked to check on my dietary requirements, Met me at the gate when I arrived and served my breakfast at a time that suited my plans for the day. Would absolutely recommend Ravenscroft to others staying in the area. They thoroughly deserve the high ratings they have on this site.

"Lovely house very comfortable"

Nick is a lovely host. The room was superb, very comfortable. The house is grand and in a good location with easy parking. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Absolutely everything! The house is beautiful, the room was supremely comfortable and we were treated like royalty. Breakfast was a delight.
