Aaramgah

We had a wonderful stay in Aaramgah. Piyush was constantly in touch with us before we checked in, and in fact, even after we checked out, to make sure that the rest of our journey was smooth as it was raining in Himachal. The property in itself is beautiful, surrounded by apple orchards. The staff were also super helpful. Would def come back!

Absolutely nothing to dislike

The location overlooking apple orchards and mountain view was nice.

The last 400 mtrs towards the location is muddy and a bit dangerous during rains.

Aaramgah is set within an apple orchard. It has an amazing view and a plethora of birds to see. Getting there can be a tad bit challenging, so do call the Piyush before you begin to ascend. The only problem is that they are located right next to the reserved forest. As a result there are only 2 dwellings in that area, and one road (that can accommodate only one car at a time). The parking are/dwellings are approximately 100 meters from the main road, so if you don't connect with them and begin your ascent, you will meet the same fate as us - having to revers down the hill because the rowdy driver coming down obviously had no concept of "giving way to drivers climbing". That passage is also a wonderful walk! So, if you do get a chance, do walk that path! The view from the rooms and the rooms itself are a delight too! They have a common space with some games in it, to help kids and people who are young at heart a space to connect and enjoy together.

Food shares a limited variety, but mountains and Alu (potato) paratha go together everywhere! Slightly overly priced for the rooms and the service provided, but it won't prevent me from travelling there again if I get a chance. They have a great parking space and that's definitely private. But, reaching it or even going down from there can be a challenge, so do connect with the team before you ascend or descend.

The location is absolutely beautiful and serene within an apple orchard. It is a very well-maintained property. The host is very much responsive and helpful. The rooms are big, overlooking the valley with an excellent panorama. The food is good, but options are limited, staff are very helpful.
