This was a cute little hotel near where my ancestors lived on the outskirts of Boleslaweic, so for me it was perfect. Checkin was pretty simple (but a bit confusing for me, because I don't speak Polish). BUT the manager met us and was helpful. The room was good and appropriate for what it was. The shower was only medium hot (not quite hot enough). The sitting / kitchen area was nice -- the wifi in the room was a bit spotty and didn't have enough space for both of us to work, so we did a lot of our work at the table in the kitchen. Nice kitchen area, and the tea was free and fun. The garden area was beautiful and well taken care of. We would have liked to have stayed longer. If you are DRIVING, this would be a great place. I don't know how good the connections are for buses and trains, and it's too far to walk to Boleslawiec. Great value for the money, for certain.

Checkin was a bit confusing. The signs are in Polish, so that didn't help me. I rang the doorbell to the left of the motel entrance, but nobody answered. After a few minutes the owner's daughter arrived to bring her child there? and told him that we were outside. Then we were let into our room.

Typical Polish noclegi: hotel rooms with shared kitchen and living room. Good to cook your own food and relax. Nice lavender decoration in the garden and in the house. Possibility to purchase some local Boleslawiec pottery.
