PHThe owners are very warm and hospitable, and the place itself is very accessible from the train station of Hualien (a mere 5min walk!). The room I stayed in was spacious, and the airconditioning was very good, a much needed respite from the summer and humid heat of June. It had all the basic amenities one would come to expect. I particularly loved the fact that I can use any of the bikes they had, which was very helpful in giving a true Hualien/Taiwan experience.
There is no elevator and my room was at the 4th floor. Staying there with a bit of luggage to carry will be a bit of a challenge, but the property staff/owners are very helpful, assisting me with all my bags.

SKThe stay was absolutely perfect :) The owners are charming, kind, and helpful. They recommended a good place for breakfast and scooter rent and even offered us some fruits (I loved the pineapple some much!). Free water in the room and at reception. great location (near bus/train station), free bikes to the night market.
The only thing that could improve is sustainability: the free water is provided in small bottles, a water tank would be more eco-friendly.. towels and bins don't have to be replaced daily,.. shampoo and shower gel could be in re-fillable bottles not in small one-use-only plastic bags.. :) And please, you don't need to take the luggage by yourself to the room, my 2-meter-tall husband felt so ashamed when the lady took his bag to the 4th floor (she was so fast he didn't have the time to stop her)
JPSo close to the Hualien station. Enough facilities suca as cold/boiled water, linens, and soaps. Clerks are so kind, best hospitality ever for this price zone.
It's not always bad, but in Hualien, close to station means far from city central. It takes approx 30 minutes to night market. Visitors should take this into account. Use bus.

CAThe host was extremely helpful and considerate. This facility is really clean and our room is spacious. The host gave us endless bottled water and even after we checked out, he managed to put a bag of bottled water into our car.
II wish they have a couple of luggage stand so that we can keep our suitcases open and don’t have to leave them on the floor.
MYnearby train station and able to use the bicycles from the property owner with free of charge
SGThe boss and his wife are very friendly. The boss will introduce you what is fun and what are cheap food and where you should go to vist and which is value your time. Please don't lethis wife carry your stuff for you if you have heavy items in your luggage, take care of her. She is very helpful as well!
AUVery close to station, walking distance actually. Hotel owner was very accommodating and gave is a discount on a last minute booking. Affordable for size and location, strongly recommend.
