"Shame it was advertised as quirky but it fell down on basics"

The staff were cordial and helpful. We enjoyed the wine hour and nighttime cookies. We enjoyed the music in the dining room. It added to the ambience. It felt like home. It was so close to all the attractions in Old City.

I would have liked a hot breakfast added like scrambled eggs in addition to the other choices.

"If you want to stay in a historic house with lots of history in a landmark district and don’t mind the late street noise"

It was like walking back in time. The house was very well taken care of.

It was super loud late at night from the bars on the same street.

Lovely little place in excellent walkable location; breakfast was really nice. History! Wine for happy hour and cookies before bed! Staff was very accommodating

Wi-Fi never worked in the room, but it was fine in the lounge; (fresh) coffee wasn’t available until 8:00. How water? Sometimes.

"A fantastic historical inn to call home"

We were greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome and the home is just lovely - filled with artifacts and history and finishing touches that made it our home away from home. A glass of wine in the evening and Cookies before bed...what a special touch! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We walked everywhere and had a wonderful stay! Perfect location outside of noisey traffic and bustling streets, but close enough to walk everywhere. Such history !!!

Everything was as advertised. It's a historic building so things are creaky and bathrooms are small but that's is to be expected. The staff were friendly but not overbearing and I loved the free wine hour and cookies! Breakfast was good, I loved the hot breakfast for the 4th of July, so cute!

"If you are looking for B&B experience a in Old City, this would do it for you."

Our third floor room had a nice view. It was also of the size from the 18th century-quite small, so be prepared for that! Getting in and out of the house with our flash pass was easy! locking our door with our 18th century key was a tad difficult. We did not stay for breakfast, but the first floor accommodations were quite comfortable.

Nice location and nice glass of wine in the afternoon. Very cozy and nice style for this B&B.

Squeaky bed, very annoying you can't even turn in bed without extreme noise.
