What a great stay, within Philly's historic heart. You need no gym, the stairs in a 1769 house are a little bit steeper than today. We enjoyed the nice small library.

"Charming B&B great location but limited facilities and amenities"

Great location and innkeeper was able to accommodate a late arrival. Historic building with a lot of charm and hospitality. Convenient parking in adjacent garage ($30 for 24 hours). Prompt response to correspondence.

Room was compact, not a lot of space. There is no elevator so may be difficult to get heavy luggage up the somewhat narrow stairs. Hot breakfast only served on weekends; during weekdays, only continental breakfast is served.
