Arrived the city at night and the host was super nice, he came and picked me up at the train station at an extra cost, which is still cheaper than taking the Taxi. We had a great chat during the ride and he was so friednly that make me felt very welcome upon arrival. The room is bigger than I thought and the bathroom is tidy and clean, the bed is very comfy and it's quiet at night so I had a really good sleep. I'm heading to Green Island the next day so the location of this hostel is perfect as it's within walking distance from the jetty. Will come again if I even visit Taiwan, thank you!

Great option for sleeping close to the Ferry to Orchid Island! Room is also very nice and clean and super confortable.

Very near to the ferry port to 綠島 or 蘭嶼島. Walkable distance and there is a breakfast place beside the homestay. Very cozy and homely feel for the stay . Highly recommended!

Stayed for 2 nights as part of my bicycling trip around Taiwan. I made a last minute decision to visit Lanyu Island, and this homestay is just minutes from the harbor. I was able to park my bicycle in the back of the homestay. I spent one day visiting Taitung city while waiting for the boat to Lanyu. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. When I arrived, the host was fixing the Internet router to the second floor. I pitched in to help, and can confirm that the Internet issue reported in some older reviews has been resolved.

great location, the owner was very polite and helpful. even though the bed was a thin mattress on the floor, it was surprisingly comfortable
