"A delightful short break."

The room was lovely - spacious, light and airy, and very quiet. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - there are various places within minutes of the hotel which are open early for breakfast. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. It was great to see Southport again, to walk up and down Lord Street, visit the Atkinson and - of course - the wonderful Broadhurst's Books! And we saw the sea as well. Not bad for a 2-night stay! And we travelled by train - the station is minutes from the centre and from the hotel as well, so very convenient.
