"nice for a short stay"

It was clean and nice. They have a garage for bicycle so for us that was excellent.

They barely speak english so not much to ask or to discuss. A little far from the city.

"Exceptional"

A genuine gem just a stone's throw from Straubing. Quiet, rural, yet helpful family owned staff and a beer garden and restaurant with tasty food. Quiet room in a charming annex overlooked by the village church.

Having to leave early the next day!

"Okay place if you are not cycling."

For cycling tourists is too far from Straubing. The restaurant on site was closed so unless you wanted to cycle in the evening over 7 kms return to to town there was nowhere to get dinner. Okay for someone with a car.

"Superb"

A great location very close to the Danube. A little bit outside of Straubing. Perfect for long walks, bicycle rides and many more. Great Bavarian kitchen. Nice, small room with a little bathroom. All I need.
