The Old Dairy

Lovely room, comfortable bed, en-suite and very hospitable host! We were staying to attend the Grand Prix and not there for breakfast on 2 mornings, the host gave us pack-ups which was fantastic and really helpful. Breakfast our first morning was tasty, good quality and perfectly cooked. :-)

Only niggle is could hear snoring through the night-if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs (slept perfectly using some!)

Proximity to busy A41 did affect sleep quality. Would have preferred double bed in family room rather than single.

Breakfast was good, rooms were neat and tidy, and the local area was really nice and well catered for with Pubs etc..

The morning waiter could has been slightly more chatty a little less surly... but this didn't ruin our stay, just a small observation

The room was spacious, lovely decorated and spotless clean. Bathroom in perfect order. Breakfast delicious and cooked in the moment for you. Helen is lovely and makes every effort to make your stay comfortable and cozy.

Nothing worth noting

The owner Helen was friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast was delicious and there was a great choice of other food. The room was quiet and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes.

It would have been useful to have a second chair in the room but that's a minor gripe as there was the bed to sit on. Also the television signal dropped out a bit but it soon came back each time.
