Room had an unpleasant odor of some kind. An doggy smell probably. Bed was covered in tourist brochures which seemed a little odd. Maybe they could be put in a folder or a rack?

SAAnneke and Breck are a very friendly and hospitable couple. I was made very welcome to their home and though I did not take them up on their offer, I was invited to come in and watch their TV etc. The accommodation is attached to the main home and connects via a hallway, with its own bathroom and kitchenette. The shower is excellent: hot water and very good pressure. Breakfasts were 'full-English' with plenty of options and alternatives: very tasty and filling. It's in a nice location with a beach walk not far away: unfortunately the weather was poor and I was unable to fully walk as I'd hoped. Location is about 10-15 mins drive from city centre. Anneke and Breck provided a wealth of tourist information and brochures.
There was nothing that I disliked, but people should be aware that dogs and cats are part of the family.
NZlocation was lovely, semi rural, lovely big property. Breakfast was exceptional. Hosts were great, very friendly and kind.
NZNZNZExcellent cooked breakfast cooked everyday if I wanted it. They catered to my Gluten free requirements. Fresh homegrown fruit was available everyday and jams and preserves too. The host and hostess were very warm and friendly and went the extra mile for me, nothing was too much trouble. It is a pet friendly B and B, close to the beach and 10 mins to town.
