I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful hosts, Sonia and Tinus. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect, providing us with the much-needed break we so desperately craved. I would 100% recommend this gem of a place—it's impeccably clean, the views are simply breathtaking, and falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the sea made our stay truly unforgettable. Sylvia was a great host and went out of her way to respond to numerous email requests. Fabulous views from our room and dining room. Breakfasts made by Nellie and her assistant were excellent ! Unfortunately we missed the whales by a couple of weeks but will have to try again next year...

"De Kelders is a hidden gem, and perfect for whale watching."

BEST location - on the rocks! Great for hiking along the coast, and whale watching from your own balcony. Beautiful sunsets. Peaceful in quiet neighbourhood. Friendly Afrikaans speaking staff. This place is very good value for money. Loved staying there! Will be back

Breakfast can be a little better if fresh fruit and cheese quality is improved a notch.

Talking about room with a view, woooow! We had a gorgeous view over the ocean and we could even see whales and dolphins from our balcony. The owner had binoculours so we could have a closer look of the whales. The owner knows a lot about the whales and sharks so it was really interesting to talk to him. He was very nice, helped us, recommended good restaurants,...

The owners were very friendly.They told us which spots to check out.Breakfast was delicious.From our bed we could see the whales.Even while eating breakfast we could see the whales.We had a room with a balcony we didn't want to leave the room because we saw the whales through out the day.The dogs were friendly Definitely would recommend this place.Thank you Mr.Tinus.Sylvia.Nelly and Sino for giving us such a wonderful experience. This place in Gansbaai is better than Hermanus
